Wow what a fun day.

We went to Peace today since our Pastor was gone to a conference, oh and Nathan and Katie were here! :)

After the bible study and service we went over to Gary and Susan's. We got to visit and see their new house, which was very nice. I never saw the inside of the old house, but this one looks bigger than the old one but I hear it wasn't. They are redoing their deck since it was all older and worn wood, and it is looking really good. It's wonders what turning over the planks and putting the bottoms on the tops... well anyways, it looks really nice, almost like a new deck. Susan made really good food, meatloaf, mashed potatoes, veggies, asparagus, and bread, and Sweet Tea! I knew when I saw the potatoes that Paul would be happy, meat and potatoes kind of guy. I really should make that for him more, it really is easy but I don't do it... and I don't know why... time, laziness, all rolled into one excuse. *sigh*

We left around 3 when Nathan and Katie left, and got home around 3:45... by 4 we were both asleep. LOL I think perhaps the company of 10 more people total of 12 made us really tired. They are great people and a lot of fun to visit with, but we really aren't used to visiting after church, mostly we just go to church, come home eat some lunch and play on the computers. I slept for 3 hours and Paul for 4, and now we are awake! :) Though I think I could go to sleep again. Really who sleeps that long?

Anyways, Paul is now talking to his sister and brother in law on the computer. Skype for all you curious. It's a great way to talk to people on a computer rather than on a phone. So if you hate talking on the phone and have a headset, then you should try out Skype. It's free to download and... you can also do webcam chats with multiple peoples... and do phone conversations with multiple peoples if you all have computers.

Right, now time to go. Gotta read perhaps, or do my quilt finishing. I need to bind my quilt, it's almost done, but not the binding. It's small, 9 inches by 9 inches, my first test quilt. I will post pictures later.

Isn't it funny how we get used to certain levels of activity and rowdiness? Here, I thought yesterday was rather restful, and we wiped you out! My mom is the same way. She got used to having two people in the house, so when we come to visit, it just seems really loud and active and ... tiring.

Sure was good to see you!!!

It was great to see you guys too! I am sure as we slowly begin our family that we will have to get used to the chaos. :)
