Books in the mail!

I love doing the paperbackswap.com, because I keep getting books in the mail. :) All I have to do is get rid of some books.

Yesterday I got "The Enchanted Broccoli Forest" a cookbook. I had already had this cookbook but I wanted to get it again so that I could give it to my sister in law, she loved my copy of it. Today I went over there after lunch and she loved it.

Today I got "More Lap Quilting with Georgia Bonesteel" I like her other lap quilting books so I am excited to get this one. I love my quilting book collection. Some are newer and some are older, all filled with beautiful quilts. My mom has a quilt book that features all the great American quilts and whenever I go home I love looking through that one, especially now that I have started quilting. Some of the stories of the quilts are just wonderful.

I think once Paul finishes working for the day we are going to watch the movie Australia, I can't wait! I have heard from many people that this is a lovely movie. Maybe I will get some quilting done today... who knows. :)

OH I also found out my sister in law has a lovely older sewing machine called Bonita, and I might be able to use that some. It's not electric, but that's ok. It is beautiful. I can't wait to learn to use it. It will give me an excuse to leave the house and spend time with her, although I don't really need one of those really. She got lucky and got this from her mother in law.

Anyways, I am going to go patiently wait for Paul to be done with working. :)

Bye!

Hi there! I just wanted to stop by and let you know how much I appreciated your comment. We don't even know each other, and you are willing to be supportive. It is a wonderful trait. I was looking at your profile, which I have done before, but I missed that we are both capricorns! I found you because we both had the same personality type, so it was funny to see that we have so much else in common, the knitting/crocheting, reading Harry Potter...haha Btw, thanks for leading my sister and I to Deb's blog, "Works in Progress." She seems like a neat lady. My sister is even trying to make a hat for her little Annie-Rose.
