More flower love!

So I finished putting on 7 more pieces on this green flower... that means I have 4 flowers done! And look my head is a flower!

Now I know this fabric is kind of an older looking fabric, but... I still like it a lot. the flowers on it are cute.

so I still have two flowers that were started... but no more fabric to finish them... so I need to figure out... a good way to do it. I might deconstruct them to make smaller flowers... I -might- have enough hexes to do that. And even if I have leftovers they can always be centers... better than having halfway started flowers... right?

I also found a bag of 2 inch blocks that I will be using for this quilt as well. scrappy stuff, and multiple prints, so I am excited. :)

It's a beautiful flower, and there's nothing wrong with "older looking fabric" - I think it's especially appropriate for such a lovely "older" pattern as Grandmother's Flower Garden! Aren't hexies fun? Thanks for linking up - Whoop whoop!!!

Its a grandmother's flower. I think they look great in older looking fabrics. Great work!

Great flowers. On the partially done flowers, could you just add 'petals' in coordinating fabrics to the flower petals that are already done? It would make multi colored flowers. They could be the center flowers of your quilt.

These are so much fun! I am working on hexie project too. Jelly rolls from Moda are great for these! Happy scrapping!
